The “Up, Up and Away” themed pep rally will provide food, fun and entertainment for the staff and faculty of Natchitoches Parish schools. The committee planning the event is composed of school board members, central office employees and representatives from the business community and the community at large. At the June 5 meeting of the Kiwanis Club, Lorita Lovemore presented Laura Mayeaux with a check from the NSU Middle Lab’s Builder’s Club. Lovemore is the Kiwanis sponsor for the Builder’s Club that raised over $150 for the Eliminate Project to help end maternal neonatal tetanus.  Mayeux is one the club chairmen of this multi-year project that donates money to help eradicate maternal neonatal tetanus all over the globe. From left are  are Lovemore and Mayeaux.
