"Controversy," a poetry slam event to be presented by the Brainy Acts Poetry Society Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Northwestern State University, has been moved to the Student Union.

Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.

“This is a poetry slam event which consists of poetry and theatre combined. The participants are everyone in our poetry group,” said Clemonce Heard of New Orleans, president of Brainy Acts, who described the performance as a combination of poetry and improvisational acting.
