A water aerobics class will be offered June 4-28 through Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education.

Water aerobics is a workout that consists of simple low-impact exercises executed in the water.  The program is designed to promote and maintain cardio-respiratory fitness, strengthen muscles and improve flexibility.  The program is especially recommended for arthritic and/or pregnant women.

The class will be taught from 11 a.m. until noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday at the Robert Wilson Recreation Complex pool. The fee is $35 per session or $95 for all three-summer sessions. Two other sessions will be held July 2-31 and August 6-30.

For more information or to register for a class, call 357-6355.
