It will be the second meeting between the two schools and will feature a Purple Out with shirts that can be purchased at Neebo and Barnes and Noble in Natchitoches. Oral Roberts won the first contest 66-55 in Tulsa, Okla. on Jan. 10.
“The thing with Oral Roberts is that they can shoot the ball. They have four players on the floor at all times that can shoot the basketball,” said co-head coach Brooke Stoehr. “They’re very efficient in their offense, love to get up-and-down the floor, and attack offensively.”
The Golden Eagles leading scorer, Kevi Luper, scored 16 points against the Lady Demons in the first game. She averages 17.8 points a contest, which ranks third in the conference.
Leading rebounder and third leading scorer, Taylor Cooper, scored 16 in the first meeting with six boards. She averages 10 points and 5.2 rebounds a game.
Jasmine Upchurch is coming in to the game after her second highest point total of the season. She scored 24 on McNeese State, and averages 12.4 points a game.
The Lady Demons will remain at home when the play Central Arkansas Saturday at 1 o’clock.
