The Northwestern State University Jazz Combos will perform its annual Jazz for Tots program Monday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free and open to the public, but those attending are asked to donate a new, unwrapped toy to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation. Marine Corps representatives will be on hand to collect donations. Dr. Paul Forsyth directs the combos.

The Monday Night Jazz Combo will play Blue Monk by Thelonius Monk, Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! by Cahn and Styne, Blue Bossa by Joe Henderson, I’ll Be Home for Christmas by Gannon and Kent and Watermelon Man by Herbie Hancock.

The Thursday Night Jazz Combo will perform Billie’s Bounce by Charlie Parker, That’s a Plenty by Lew Pollock, I Can’t Get Started by Gershwin and Duke, Here Comes McBride by Dave Brubeck, Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson and Freedom Jazz Dance by Miles Davis.

Members of the Monday Night Jazz Combo are Emmet Chamberlin, Todd France, Geoffrey Smith, Kazue Seo, Michael Johnson, Ryan Hinman, Jacob Dycus, J.C. Bryant and Russell Lancaster.

The Thursday Night Jazz Combo includes Tajh Derosier, Maxomilian Spedale, Jarred Carlton, Matt Petty, Jose Hernandez, Adam LeBlanc and John Michael Butler.
