Title:  Coordinator of Postal Services

Education:  B.A. in history, Salisbury State University;  M.A. in Student Personnel Services, Northwestern State University

Years at NSU: 1

Job description: Northwestern State University Postal Services processes all of the in-coming and outgoing mail for the university. We also serve as a fully functioning post office and provide mail service for all of Northwestern State’s residential students.

Why I like working at Northwestern State:  Northwestern State University’s Postal Services serves as one of the main methods by which NSU communicates with prospective students, current students and alumni. From the time a high school junior is sent their first recruiting letter to the time, as alumni, they receive their very first copy of Alumni Columns, Postal Services is the department that ensures that they are getting all the information they need from the university.  We also get to see a variety of people from many different facets of the University on a daily basis and our professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff is always willing to help out other staff and faculty. I also enjoy getting the opportunity to work with students outside of the post office setting and am currently advising an outstanding group of young men who will soon be members of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, the newest Greek organization on NSU’s campus.
