A meet and greet reception was held upstairs at the Landing Friday, April 13. Louisiana Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (LASSAR) scheduled a weekend of events, including a LASSAR meeting Saturday morning, a visit to the grave site of the state’s LASSAR founder and a banquet. State officers were installed at the banquet.  Over 50 guests from throughout the state attended the weekend’s events; also attending were LASSAR representatives. The LASSAR is the southern district of the national organization, the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR).
