The Order of the Easter Star Golden Star Chapter 62 donated toys to East Natchitoches Elementary and Middle School. The school held a drawing to determine the winners of the toys. Beta Omega Sigma Chapter, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. celebrated 90 years of existence Nov. 12. The chapter of Beta Omega Sigma celebrated a 59-year anniversary Nov. 6, 2012. Sigma Gamma Rho was founded by seven school teachers, and members pride themselves on continuing education and community services.
