Biomedical Lecture Series continues Friday at Northwestern State

Louisiana Scholars’ College at Northwestern State University will host a lecture by Dr. Karen Stokes at noon Friday, Jan. 20 in Room 146 of Morrison Hall. The presentation, entitled “Cytomegalovirus: Harmless....or Villain’s Accomplice?,” is part of the Biomedical Sciences Lecture Series.

Dr. Stokes is a specialist in the Department of Cellular Biology and Anatomy and the Center for Molecular and Tumor Virology at the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.

A meeting of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the university pre-med society, will follow the lecture.
