According to maxpreps.com, Tripp has over 2,086 passing yards for the Tigers, which represents an average of 189.6 per game. He has thrown for 22 touchdowns while wearing the red and black.
Coach Jess Curtis, who coached Davis during his two years at MHS, had nothing but positive things to say about the athlete.
“Tripp is a great kid and representative of Many High School football,” Curtis said.
The coach continued his speech by noting that Louisiana College has a great football program that fits Davis’s style of play perfectly. He also has the option of playing baseball, and is being encouraged to do so by Coach Chris Laurence.
