Northwestern State University’s Department of Military Science will hold an open house for the Demon Regiment from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 27 as part of Homecoming festivities.  Guests are invited to visit the James A. Noe Armory on the NSU campus for refreshments and to meet and greet ROTC cadets.  Attire is business casual.Northwestern State University’s School of Business will host a Homecoming reception for student, alumni and friends from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 in the Natchitoches Room in Russell Hall.

 The brunch will include the presentation of awards and recognition of outstanding faculty and alumni.

During the event, administrators will recognize AdvoCare International with the Director’s Outstanding Business Award and its founder, the late Charles E. Ragus, with the School of Business Distinction Recipient. AdvoCare is a leading nutritional supplement company.  

Faculty who were named 2012 recipients of School of Business professorships will also be recognized, along with those who earned faculty achievements and promotions and students who earned scholarships.
