Nominees sought for Distinguished Hall of Educators; induction and brunch planned

Northwestern State University’s Gallaspy College of Education and Human Development Alumni Advisory Board is seeking nominations for the Hall of Distinguished Educators for 2013.  Nominees must have graduated from Northwestern State’s College of Education at least 30 years prior to nomination.

Inductees will be honored during a brunch and induction ceremony at the Teacher Education Center on Oct. 19.

Approximately 75 educators who earned undergraduate and/or graduate degrees at Louisiana Normal, Northwestern State College and Northwesten State University have been inducted into the Hall of Distinguished Educators.

Anyone who would like to nominate an outstanding College of Education alumnus who has had a distinguished career in education should send the nominee’s resume and other documentation outlining the reason for the nomination to NSU College of Education and Human Development, c/o Janet Broadway, Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, LA 71497.
